Guidelines for Submission

This will be the 10th Anniversary of our Mystery Novel Award, and our FINAL YEAR....

• Submissions only accepted between April 1, 2008 and July 15, 2008.
• A letter and a $25 reading fee must accompany each submission.  Paypal to pal@salvopress.com.
• Make checks payable to Salvo Press.
• Manuscript must be original and must not have been published in any form whatsoever.
• Submit the entire manuscript (200-400 pages, double spaced, in Courier 12 point), saved on a CD in Word format as a single file.
• Deadline: July 15, 2008. (postmarked)
• Manuscripts on CD will not be returned, so you must submit a disposable copy. Now you can also send by e-mail after paying by Paypal to pal@salvopress.com.
• Include a #10 SASE for notification. No SASE; no response. (Will also be announced on website: www.salvopress.com)
• Include a short bio of yourself.
• Your canceled check will serve as acknowledgment of receipt of your manuscript.
• International entries may provide an e-mail address for notification.
• Mail manuscripts on CD to: Mystery Novel Award, Salvo Press, P.O. Box 7396, Beaverton, OR 97007.
Salvo Press is not responsible for any manuscript that does not follow these submission guidelines.
We reserve the right to select no winner for this award.
